Juandice it says it cuases mental retardation, how,in what way? my daughter had it she s slow at learning.?

like i say she is slow at learning but she doesn't look or act retarded .in school she has to be explained things face to face or she can't catch on if your just giving instuctions, she can't add or anything just out of her head she can't evan count money, the school says that she is just slow.she had it at birth for the 1st 2wks they drew blood from her and told me to put her in the sun every morning by the end of the 2wks they said she was ok

i thought it was a liver problem, not a mental problem. i would ask the doctor, i believe you have been mis-informed.

My question is, did she get the shots that they are forcing parents to give their children now adays? They know that they can slow a child's ability to learn...i don't think the jaundice alone would cause it...I also think the vitamin K shots they force on kids could possibly cause the jaundice...
