How would an individual if be able to tell if they suffer from mild retardation? whutz the main signs?

this is a serious question, im a 22 yr old guy, and im wondering if i suffer from the mild form of retardation. Is it possible to make it all the way thru school, without being in a special ed class, if u do have mental retardation?

Yes, it is possible to make it through school without special education if one has mild mental retardation. The only way to tell if someone has mental retardation is by taking the standardized tests, there aren't really any "symptoms" of it, except perhaps having difficulty in adjusting socially or occupationally. If you are worried, seeing someone should help. Also, I would think it would have been caught while you were in school on one of their tests (mental retardation is usually diagnosed in childhood or adolescence).
