Social security disability?

my 11 year old daughter has been diagnosed with cognitive impairment, major depression and mild mental retardation. can i get her on disability social security?

I highly doubt she can be placed on social security.
Unless she has a job or she is completly incapable of doing any school work at all she is not able to be on social security. Also SS is usualy for those with physical disabilities. (like my father who has MS.)
Now it's worth a try to get her on it. If you do try... get a lawyer (one who specializes in SS maters too)

Maybe: I do know people who, while physically quite well, had mental problems. And were able to take social security for them.

But like Yumi says, talk with a good lawyer about it.

Good luck!
