What does it mean to have an IQ score of...?

I've herd that mental retardation was a score of 60! what is normal/average? Isn't genius a score of 160+?

I was not going to say anything about what people said about me! I did go to tickle.com and I scored 115...I was just going to see if I was average or above. Thanks for the help!

I think a goo one is around 90-110 but I'm not sure. I'm dyslexic and I have an IQ of 183 but I can't use mine the way savants can so sometimes it doesn't matter what you score it's how you use it.

it really means nothing.
both Albert Einstein and Thomas Edison had below average IQ; it didn't stop them from using their brains.
also, Yngwe Malmstein scored something like a 70, and he was arguably one of the best guitarists of the twentieth century.
don't be self conscious about such a thing, the IQ test tells nothing of a persons creativity, imagination, or artistic ability. it only really tells you of your logical/rational thinking skills (and they're always saying to think OUTSIDE the box, right?).

And if you're above, do we get a bunch of insults on the questions? Hope people will realize IQ isn't an automatic attitude.
