What does CDC means? |
I often head CDC related to Mental Retardation but i never understood what it stood for. I often heard my friends said it stand for "Crazy Dumb Children" which I really doubt. So please enlighten me. Center for Disease Control it's the center for disease control Cold Dead Children? it means child development center for the mentally handicaped In my universe it stands for Completely Dependent Children. J/K In this case, it is probably an acronym for something, other than the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (so why don't we call it the CDCP?), in Atlanta, GA. CDC stands for the Center of Disease Control (and Prevention). I could not find any acronym pretaining to mental retardation from all the places I checked to make sure there were no other abbreviations as such.
