Have you been on paxil cr?

My ptsd is from child abuse and my panic attacks are from being abused and so that is what it is caused from. I been on ritalin since april 2004 and i have tried concerta it didn't work for me. That was the first medicine i was on. By the way i have mild mental retardation. Before i was on paxil cr, i didn't have electric shocking and i was on paxil cr for months. I am on zoloft and doing better. I have the body of a kid. I am 21. I am 5'1 and 118 pounds. I can't go without any of my meds. Because my adhd effects me very severely and it gets me in trouble so bad and so understand that.


Have you had electric shocking?

I know a few people who have been on that, everyone reacts different to drugs, some drugs just don't work, you just have to keep trying to see what will work for you.

Yes and it made me gain all kinds of weight. Try Zoloft.

Never had the e.s. therapy. Something about the words electric & therapy just don't fit together.

I didn't react well to paxil cr. It made me more anxious and I had weird dreams (almost too real). But then again I didn't give it much of a chance. I was on it for one week and I've heard that it takes a couple of weeks to begin working. I think I'm better able now to control my anxiety by simply controlling my thoughts and realizing my fears are irrational. Try the paxil cr for a couple of weeks. I hope it works for you. Good luck.
