Menstruation problems...?

i am a 14 year old girl
you see my menstruation has already exceeded 1 week( in fact 2 weeks) but on regular flow and no experiences of pain

wad should i do?
why is this happening?
and i already told my mum but she is also unsure...

and wad should i do if this happens again
and why???

ps: this is not the first time i experience this but this is the first time it exceeds 2 weeks

If it is fairly normal for your menstruations to last a long time, then I wouldn't worry about it too much just yet, it takes a while for a woman to regulate, mine used to last a week and a half or so, now they last about three days. I would keep this in mind and ask your dr, next time you go, but I wouldn't worry too much just yet.

I think you should go see a doctor. It's unusual for it to last more than a week

go to the doctor & ask

i know a few girls with that problem.

you're still young, so i wouldn't worry about it right now.

if it continues for an unbelievable amount of time..go to the doctor.

and if it'll ease your worries, go to the doctor right now. it'd never hurt just to make sure.

at what age did you start your period? i started when i was 14. when i first started, it lasted for 9 days or so. you should probably go to the gyno soon and get that checked out if it doesn't stop. i don't think iv ever heard of anyone having their period for 2 weeks. the gyno will be able to tell you a lot more then random people on yahoo

Don't worry, the most probable cause of your long period is hormone fluctuation. When we are in our teens, our hormones are all over the place and, as part of the reproductive cycle, menstruation is particularly affected. Ultimately, they should settle down to a more normal pattern, but in the meantime, you should see a doctor if your periods are causing you any difficulties or if you are still concerned. You should also watch out for the symptoms of anemia (weakness, fatigue, paleness) if you have long periods. If you do, you should see a doctor.

Menstruation begins in an irregular durations then it going to be regular in 3-6 months So what r u afraid of?
Sometime thare are premenstruations events which happened randomly and without any pains ... this must be considered also in your case ...
Small girls afraid of this .. And feel strange feelings So mom must explain it and make them unworried
