Symptoms of meningitis...is it serious? |
I have all the symptoms of meningitis although i think i did get vaccinated for it....i know that bacterial meningitis is the fatal one but viral meningitis isnt fatal but could it still be serious? what is the treatment? how long does viral meningitis last for? The best thing for you to do is see a doctor. They have to differentiate between viral and bacterial before they can start treatment. And what the poster said above me is right, meningitis can be fatal, so if you think you have it, you should go to a Dr. or ER. Viral meningitis is the easier one to cure, but it can also range in different degrees of strength form lasting 2 weeks to month and you can still have long term side affects such as headaches from viral meningitis. |
