I have a brain tumor and get horrible migrianes, think it could be related, doctor says no.?

I started having these migrianes over a year ago, flashing lights, head pain a list of complaints,my list is so long they cant pinpoint anything so they tell me I'm depressed as well. Although I tested positive for Lupus than not-positive go figure. They did a MRI found this tumor but say its nothing to worry about and that I'm just having migrianes and basically to deal with it. They did start me on Topamax which hasnt helped so they figure they'll just up my dosage some more. I have started trying to do my own research. This type of tumor is a meningioma in right temporal lobe area.

Its definitely related and makes no sense that you doc told you it wasn't. I know its hard when you have something seriously wrong with you to trust anyones diagnosis but it sounds like you should probably have a second opinion about your diagnosis. Find another doctor.

Yes, i think it could be relatated i can't believe you Dr. said no.

get a sectend opinion

I can't believe you're asking for medical advice on an issue like this here on Yahoo.

I'm not going to offer anything beyond the following:

Do some research on Web MD regarding the tumor and its' type.

Seek a 2nd opinion from another reputable doctor, a neurologist. One who specializes in tumors, brains, nerves, etc.
