Signs of reoccurance? |
I had a brain tumour - meningioma - 3 years ago.. I have to go back to the neurosurgeon this year for a check up, and I always get nervous and convince myself that it's back. Does anyone know some possible signs? I know there is a lot to consider.. Perhaps I'm just looking for some peace of mind. Hi I can sympathize. I had endometrial cancer and I am checked every 3 months for its return. I know it is hard. Hang in there. Check Mayo Clinic website for symptoms of recurrence. Best wishes. Just be glad they're keeping close track of you and tell them any symptoms or anything off. They need to know everything. I don't know the answer to your condition, but I want to give you some encouragement. I know it's hard to convince yourself of a good thing when bad thing happened to you; but you need to look pass that. We can alter our life by altering our attitudes of mind (mind over body). signs of recurrence : severe headaches ,morning vomiting, blurred vision, new weakness in the extremities.by the way ,meningioma is a benign tumor, take it easy on yourself, spend some time in relaxing environment (nature is a good choice) |
