Meniere's disease HELP?

I woke up randomly one morning (never had any ear problems before) and for some reason every sound hurt my ears. I couldnt bear sounds. Then it went away, then 2 days later it came back along with dizziness and pressure in my ear! and a ringing sound.

My doctor took a hearing test and said i have low frequency deafness.

Now today I feel like the sensativity went away a little and I can hear better.

Is this what I think it is?

Meniere's disease also has to do with fluid in the ears, which can cause pressure that can cause vertigo. If you had Meniere's disease, shouldn't your doctor have told you? My cousin has Meniere's disease, and it is mostly due to the high sodium foods he eats that cause excessive fluid and ringing in his ears. He also experiences vertigo as well. He also has to wear hearing aids, but I don't know if it is due to low frequency deafness or not.

Sound's like it could be, but wouldn't your MD have told you?

Google: mayo clinic>>diseases>>Meniere's disease

Good luck to you.

Probally a good day...

Frequency deffness just doesnt go away
it is a permanent thing even if its small
