Men health? |
my bf is uncircumcised..not that i have a problem it...hes 23, i know this is not common for most men...but are there any risks for him of being uncircumcised...like infections or anything like that? or is it better to have the foreskin removed? lol Most guys in the world are uncircumcised. That includes Europeans, Latin Americans, and Japanese and Chinese. The United States is the last remaining advanced nation to do this surgery on a big scale, but it's becoming less popular. In some states, the rates of circumcision have dropped to as low as 14%. removing the foreskin prevents bacteria infection, but most ppl who are uncircumsized never exp. that oh yes definitly he just needs to keep it clean all the time like after sex go and wash it to prevent infections first of all, it is very common for most men with foreskin, many men around the world have foreskin. just because you don't see a lot of a men with foreskin, that does not mean that the entire men population have no foreskin. Don't worry. If it wasn't supposed to be there it wouldn't have grown there in the first place! If he is healthy and had no problems then there is no reason to remove it (it is painful for adults and babies but we pretend they can't feel anything). The foreskin is a normal part of the penis and some cultures removed it for religious reasons (how would it please God?). The risks of any problem are tiny. 80% of the world鈥檚 males are intact like him and the vast majority never have any problem with their foreskin. Using surgery to mutilate the genitals instead of washing in a modern western society makes no sense. Normal intact male genitals are, if anything, easier to wash than female ones and the same substance, smegma collects in the folds of both sorts. Foreskin or no he msut make sure he its clean, usually uncut men need more attention and specially cleaning after sex, since the foreskin can store dirty which will cause bacteria. Not common? Only in the US, where at one point 90% of all infant boys were mutilated. It is down to about 55%, so in a few years the teens will be evenly cut/uncut. Out of the 3 billion boys and men in the world, over 2 billion are uncut, and seem to function fine in their natural state. |
