Why are men so concerned about their penis size and masterbation on Men's Health?

I'd like to challenge you guys to ask other questions about men's health. Yes, I'm a woman, and I love to answer questions about men's topics like ED, PE, Undecended testicles, vasectomys, but it seems the collective men here, concerned about their penis size and masterbation on Men's Health, when I bet you are just fine!
How about some deep questions? What's your opinion.

I think alot of these questions which are coming back over and over again is due to the fact that alot of guys here are probably younger males who don't bother searching the database first to find answers to their questions.

So you get younger lazy folks who just post their questions away, and since there's so many of them (young males) the same questions seem to be popping up again and again.

In terms of asking more in-depth questions, I myself thought I had (in the past) but I was either rudelly answered, or got my answers deleted and lost points... Not that it's all that important, but still, it makes you wonder...


So basically it's OK to ask the same question about 15 times a day but if you ask one about fetishes, modern practices, or taboos, you are judged harshly and dealt with punishment from Yahoo.

You may notice I answer more questions than I ask, and I also don't answer alot of them since they are, in fact, repeats of previous ones...

I mean how often will you see questions like "Is Masturbation Evil?" or "Am I big enough?" and the like per page? Even those who refuse to read or search for their answers can find a similar one just a few questions below theirs.

Like I said, I think is mostly a question on numbers (young guys) and lazyness...

men are concerend about this cause the want to know if theres is bigger than anothers. This is because of women if you guys didnt make us so horny we wouldnt have to worry about these things

This is a good place to get a little honesty. Its a good place to ask questions you are otherwise embarrassed about or have nobody to ask considering the people you could dont want to hurt your feelings. So a little reassurance from strangers is great. Though it is pretty ridiculouse when a guy with a decent size asks,just fishing for compliments. No different,however from the women who says "Im 5ft6,weigh 115, am I fat?". Its just fishing! We do it too.

I think most men are concerned about their penis size because of insecurities when dealing with what women really want in a man's size. Smaller men worry that they will not 'meassure up,' so to speak.

It an ego thing. Men are always competing with eachother in sports, business, etc. It's another "event" to compete in. Some men have low self esteem and need to feel "big and important" in some aspect of their lives. They may have poor social skills and rely on penis size to make themselves more desirable to the opposite sex.

Most men masturbate, that's why there are so many comments and questions about that. It's been said "90% of men masturbate and the other 10% are liars!"

I think men are concerned about penis size because of the ongoing conversation going on in our society about it. If our partners are satisfied, that is truly all we care about in that regard, but we are afraid they are not, and it's not something most people talk about. I once worked on a film with Mickey Rooney, in Utah, and he told me it "doesn't matter what size your potato is, as long as your partner is satisfied." I loved that, and have always remembered it.
Masturbation is a concern because frankly we are ashamed of it, every single time it is done.. The term "jerk off" is a negative because it means not being real, or doing the easy thing, when the fully committed thing is called for. I assure you there is never a time when masturbation occurs, that myself or anyone I've known feels good about it.. And if we get "hooked" on masturbation that is the absolute worst, because then we prefer it to intercourse, (as we can be so rough with ourselves,) and we can't tell our partners what we have done to ourselves.. so that is my candid answer on your deep question.. How did I do?
