Does Melanoma cause pain?

I was born with a very dark mole on my back. it is not huge, its aboout the size of a pencil eraser, a little smaller.
Anyways, about 4 months ago, the area (my shoulder blade) has began cracking and popping, and now, the noise has stopped, but i have alot of pain when I turn or reach... I also get a feeling of pins and needles around the area.
Do you think this sounds like Melanoma, or just a coincidence, that the pain and numbess i sin the same area?

Melanoma is a type of a cancer.Is the mole getting bigger or unusual in colors? Most cancer, they don't give signs or symptoms unless they have already metastasize ( spread ) in the area especially like melanoma that is just on the skin. I suggest you see a Dermatologist and remove the mole. It is better to be diagnosed early.But I hope it is not.

You should probably get the mole removed, but that is NOT melanoma.

Sounds more like you either tore ur rotor cup or pinched a nerve I dont know for sure that The pain is associated with the mole but regardless they should both be cked out soon Good Luck!

It didn't with mine. You should see a dermatologist right away.
