How likely is it that I have Melanoma? |
I have several spots on my skin that were basically brought to my freaked out attention by my mother. I know that it could be an overreaction, but how common are the symptoms of Melanoma without it actually being Melanoma? I have all of them, ABC and D. I need to go to a doc. - I suggest you go or try to look for a free screening somewhere. I have these red dots that have been popping up and my arms and chest and now I have one on my leg..... Melanoma can strike at any age and on any spot on the body, including the bottom of someones foot. If you suspect melanoma than you should make an appointment with a dermatologist who can examine you thoroughly. There is no way anyone here would know. A lot depends upon your ethnic background, the amount of time you spent outside, and your family predisposition to cancer. Go your doctor and have him/her have a look. It is too important to leave to guessing, and an early check up can save you much grief. if you get out in the sun alot, it could just be sun spots, but you need to go to the doc. is that you..
