What can help soothe or dry up intransit satellite lesions in melanoma.?

father has melanoma, not in major organs yet. But has lesions like grape vines around low belly, upper thigh, and groin area. We know there's no cure for melanoma, just want something to help soothe lesions. He cannot have surgery because of heart and kidney problems, not associated with the melanoma.
