Melanoma...do i have it? |
i have this mole on my upper thigh. its raised on the skin, 2 mm in diameter, and dark brown. it is painless, but what worries me is that it is almost split into two. kind of a heart shaped ball of a mole, also it is loose on the skin and a feel like i can pull it off. i have had it for 7 years and it hasnt changed. could it be melanoma with those charcacteristics even though ive had it for so long and it hasnt changed. See a dermatolgist to be sure! You probably don't have melanoma since it hasn't changed. But get it checked out to be on the safe side! I was just diagnosed with melanoma. However, my prognosis is excellent since it was discovered right away. Early detection is key! |
