Melanoma Cancer???

I had melanoma three years ago. I've been told that it can return, is this true???

Melanoma is a cancer that can spread to the lymph glands and from there throughout the body.
If the melanoma was caught in the very early stages and did not reach your lymph glands and was removed in its entirety you may be fine.
If it spread at all it could appear anywhere in your body so it is important to have regular checks.

once you get melanoma, you are much more likely to have another episode than a person that has never had it, so it is very important to monitor your skin closely

Yes it can return. Many people never have a recurrence however

Yes it can return.
