Just had stage 1 melanoma surgery done and have a huge wound.?

I always have had a lot of moles on my back ever since I was young, obviously the doc cannot take out every mole on my body. How can I be sure that none of these are melanoma too? I would love to get all of them taken off, but I wouldnt have a back left.

Usually, be concerned if there is a change in a mole...

i don't know...obviously your dermatologist can do a visual examination and compare the moles to the standards of melanoma...but the only 100 % accurate way of knowing would be removal and sending them to the lab...wouldn't it?

sorry...this is not a really good answer...

i wish you all the best in your recovery and hope that your cancer never comes back.....
