What would help soothe, shrink, or dry up an intransit metastases lesion in melanoma? |
my father has melanoma(nodular),cannot have surgery to remove them because of other health problems. The lesions are on stomach, leg, and groin area(looks like big ugly grapes). He's just very uncomfortable. Been soaking in oatmeal baths and uses baby oil. If there's anything to soothe, dry them up, or another procedure besides surgery to rid him of these ugly and uncomfortable things. Thank you No, excision is the only solution to get rid of them. Your father however has the worst type of melanoma (nodular). I would maybe try to find another surgeon that might do some paliative surgery. I'd look for another surgeon. They certainly should be able to be removed under local anesthesia, even if he is very sick. excision is the only thing, however melanoma spreads past skin to organs and quickly. Get PET/CT and good luck! Go to www.GoXanthones.com and listen to the audio links on cancer by Dr. John Edwards. He has been using mangosteen juice as a supplement to treat some of his cancer patients with some great success. |
