Once melanoma metastasizes to the brain (multiple tumors), what's a general time frame & what can we expect?

It depends on how long the patient has been under treatment and what his options are . . have you spoken to the oncologist? What is the patients current health status? Sometimes brain tumors can be operated on or they can be ablated or in some cases Temodar in combination with other chemo can be used? The question is somewhat vague . . but investigate treatment options before discussing time frames and end of life. Fight.

Personally I think it depends on the person. My brother In-law had a brain tumor and he is still living after 2 brain surgerys. Granted that he has alot of trouble walking and standing and he is not the exacte same person that he was 2 years ago but he made has made it. The doctors only gave him untill the end of that year to live it has now been 2 years. Just tell them to try and keep fighting it. GOOD LOCK :)
