Is there a medicinal use for the herb ginger?

Its helps calm an upset stomach

Ginger is a good herb for stomach ailments, which is why gingerale is good when you have the flu.

Used to stop nausea and motion sickness. Is used as a digestive aid and to stop or lessen acid indigestion.

In some people is will lower blood pressure.

Made into a tea, it can be very helpful with sinus infections and colds.

It can be used to lower blood pressure, and to calm an upset stomach.

The chemical, 6-gingerol, found in ginger root is used to CURE cancer in many countries. Great care must be used, though, to keep from overloading kidneys and liver with too many dead cancer cells at once.
