I have heard that they are a medicinal herb?

strawberries have natural antioxidants which if eaten often can help to prevent cancer. You can also eat other berries, avocados, peanuts, salmon, garlic.... among many other food that serve the same purpose.

i was always told that wild strawberries are poisonous I would check it out before eating them

They very beneficial to all ,red fruits,blue fruits their properties are too numerous to write just go ahead and eat
