What are the preventions to take if we have kidney stones?

i have been hospitalized for kidney stone twice and i have trough away 2 stones normaly by drinking lot of water i refuse to go for operation and i want to know how to prevent the sedimentation and formation of the such stone, plz help if u know what diet have to take or what type of exercise to do...ant type of medicinal herbs to use?

do not drink soda. do not drink coffee. maintain a healthy weight. drink a lot of water and 100% juice to keep your system flushed.

I have had kidney stones too. I hate them!!

Corn Silk Tea

Go buy some ears of corn, that need to be shucked. When you shuck them, you will come across strands of corn silk. Take them, boil them, and drink the tea! Native americans have been doing it for years! Your doctor will tell you it's crazy, but he just wants to sell you meds. ( How much would he really make selling you 5 ears of corn, anyway?)

I have absolutely NO medical backup for what I'm about to tell you, but I had kidney stones during my first pregnancy, and I am nearly positive it was the prenatal vitamins that did it. My second pregnancy was fine, and had a perfectly healthy baby without them, MINUS the kidney stones ( I chose not to take the prenatal vitamins). I think it was an over-abundance of minerals, and my system had to put them somewhere...so I ended up with stones. That was 18 yrs ago, and though I take vitamins, I skip the minerals, and haven't had any since....
