Does medicare pay for hearing aids?

Medicare does not pay for hearing aids per se. But some hearing aid dispensers will allow discounts for medicare recipients.

No there is no payment by State or Federal Health Coverage although there are many programs where hearing aid are provided or a contribution such as Canada ( see A.D.P. Min. of Health). Unfortunately there are few programs available for Seniors in providing aids. As far as discount for Medicare customers by Dispensers that is at the Dispensers discretion. There are all ways discounts, sales, promotions so shop around for the best product.
You may reach different social and service organizations and see if there is any benevolence or special funding.
Ask you hearing aid vendor for possible contacts in your community
There is no real deals nothing is for free.

Try calling United Way (211) and they will help you to get a really good discount on a recondition one, I did and it was only $125.00
