Medicare parts A and B, who do i contact?

You need to speak to someone about additional coverage to medicare parts A and B. Which of the following organizations should you contact?

A. TRICARE
B. blue cross and blue shield
C. CHAMPVA
D. indian health service

This is a multiple question. All i want is a A B C or D answer please. Thank you.

Ok, I'll start off by giving you what you want, however; you'll still need to contact social security.

Not Tricare or CHAMPVA because that is what the military people use. Indian Health Service is for those who are Indians. That leaves Blue Cross and Blue Shield as the only viable answer of the four answers from which you give us to choose.

If you go to your local Social Security office, they will have a booklet that tells you who to contact. I only bring this info up to you in case you might want to choose other options other than Blue Cross Blue Shield.

You can either call your local office or call 1-800-772-1213.

Every state is different as to what insurance is available. My dad had moved here from Wisconsin and and had to change his insurance.

So, in reality, it will depend on what insurance companies are offering insurance in your area. Once again, the medicare booklet will offer your great detail.

You can also go to ssa.gov to see what they say there.

I didn't realize that. Your question didn't specify so I wasn't aware that this was part of your school homework.

Look at it this way. At least now, if you ever need to apply for medigap insurance, you'll know where to look. Report It
