SSI/Disability/Medicare/Medica...

Are any of you on any of these? I am on Didability and they are deciding to charge me now for Medical...should I keep it or go back to my husbands Insurance? I hate the whole run around of being on State Disability...but it helps my husband with the finances. What has helped you the most to understand all of your benefits...FOR THOSE WHO ARE SSI/DISABLED/ON MEDICARE OR MEDICAL ONLY PLEASE!

I'm on disability and after 6 months on Medicare I started having to pay for mine also ,SSI paid for it till my Medicare kicked in, but everyone does unless they have SSI on a permanent basic
i had worked for over 30 years so I didn't qualify for SSI,but you are not the only one having to pay ,but we will be getting a 3% raise in January and that makes up for what I have taken out. and having Medicare pay for the Medications now is great, now I can afford my med's were before it took half my check . If i were you I'd keep the Medicare

what has helped me most to understand my benifits?=i had my brother take over for me in getting things done to make a medcaid window open up and get my hip replaced and rehab and nusring care and it was in the neigborhood of $1700 out of my pocket where as if you can't qualify some go way with bills up to seventy grand for the hip replacement if you don't have coverage, i just happened to have a brother that is running the Colorado court system and has to do health care providing for all the worker at his department and it went like a piece of cake if you have the right understanding people (help)opening doors that i didn't know were there or how to use them, i still marvel at his ability to know state systems
