If Some Applies and Receives Medicaid, Will It Show Up On Their Public Record?

I just want to know if by receiving medicaid, will someone's name become part of a public record where others can look up their name and see they received medicaid assistance?

Like if there is someplace people can go and look to see who has ever received medicaid by entering someone's first and last name?

Is medicaid kept public or private in someone's record? By receiving medicaid, will one always be in the state system and subject to any employment denials or future problems?

If a background check or even credit check is done, will it show that someone has been on medicaid?

Are there any problems associated with receiving medicaid?

Thanks!

I have been receiving Medicaid, other assistance from my state, and depending on yours, you may receive a lot of different kinds of help.
Your application for medicare, medicaid should only be available to gov't, and not to the general public (I've not encountered any problems w/ someone finding out my info.)
You could receive medicare, food stamps, dental, prescription re-imbursement, clinical consultation (indian), emergency transportation, regular transportation, and PCP consultation.
my suggestion is to apply for everything, gather all of your important info (past dr. visits, medical files, pension-,income-, royalties-, inheritance), and apply in person, and be in touch w/ your case worker as much as possible.
Best of luck to you.

Noone will ever know that you're on medical assistance unless you tell them. When you go to the hospital or doctor's office, they will verify that you're on MA thru their state system website, so they know they'll get paid. It is a secured logon and the general public does not have access to this information. I'm not sure about the background check...I would think not. Don't be fooled by those background websites, they're crap and don't give you the information anyways.
