Georgia pregnancy medicaid? |
hi, im pregnant and i was wondering.... I just got the application for medicaid and it asks for how much money you have in your bank accounts and I've been saving money for a while for school and it totals to about 9,000 dollars, but I still only make minimal amounts of money at my low income job. Could I still get medicaid or is it just something I shouldn't even bother with? I think you can only have 2000.00 cash resource. But go apply! you have nothing to lose. there is a formula they use, and if your bills exceed your income, you may still qualify. not sure in georgia but in arizona the answer would be no if you have assesst that total more then 2,000 you dont qualify |
