Measles help? |
My 4 year old daughter was just diagnosed by the doctor with the measles. What home remedies are there to help her? Other ways to help with the measles? Please help she is feeling very miserable and would like to get better or at least be more comfortable or feel better as soon as possible. I thank you for all of you who answers and i'm sure my daughter thanks you too. I remember a cornstarch paste or oatmeal baths to stop itching. I know cornstarch dry is still used as a diaper rash preventive/cure. I think Aveeno sells an oatmeal bath mix for stuff like this. Have you tried Tylenol or Motrin to help? Poor kid and poor you! Eyes should be protected with good irrigation fluid. Be careful. Cough linctus to suppress the dry cough. Antibiotics if there are complications like ears or lungs are affected. Vitamin A 200,000 units IU orally will reduce the eye complications and respiratory infections. Being virus there is no specific treatment. |
