Can slapped cheek rash appear like measles rash? |
My daughter had 'slapped cheek' about 2 and a half weeks ago. Confirmed by the doctor. She had the rash on her cheeks and solid red rash all over her body. I've just noticed she has a rash on her face again but not the solid rash like 'slapped cheek'. I've checked behind her ears and its there too, which I know is indicative of measles. She also has same rash on her front and back. It's slightly bumpy, like little spots. She has had MMR vacination, but I think it may be measles. I knw the rash form 'slapped cheek can come and go for a few weeks but I'm really not sure. Any advice? Ask Alex Ferguson - looks like he been suffering with it for years! |
