Not sure if my child has a rash or measles? HELP? |
MY DAUGHTER WHO IS 18 MO. HAS BROKEN OUT IN A RASH FROM HEAD TO TOE. IT SPREAD JUST LIKE MEASLES AND EVEN LOOKS LIKE MEASLES, BUT SHE HAS HAD AN MMR VACCINE. AND IT HAS NOT SPREAD TO ANYONE ELSE.. AND NOW THAT IT SEEMS TO BE GOING AWAY, IT IS LEAVING RED, DRY PATCHES ON HER SKIN????? I DONT KNOW WHAT SHE HAS GOTTEN INTO OR WHAT TO DO ABOUT IT????? HELP!!!!! THis warrants a trip to the doctor, pronto. Call your doctor's office and there should be a number for an after hour clinic as info on the line. If not, then take your child to an Urgent Care facility or to the emergency room at the nearest hospital. If she is only 18 months old, have you checked her temp? Is it normal or slightly raised? If so, it is even more important to take her to emergency care. They will let you make payments if money is an issue. And it doesn't matter if you don't have health insurance...they HAVE to see her according to the law. Please take her now! Sounds like your daughter has ezema or is allergic to something It's not measles. the MMR immunization will prevent that 100%. You failed to mention a fever? I would take her to a doctor. What you describe may be from several things. |
