Measles Immunity?

if you get measles are you immune to it ? or can you get it again?

If you actually catch measles- and there are two forms, Rubella and Rubeola, then you are immune for life for whichever type you survive. It's easier to get the shots, though. The diseases come with their own collection of complications, including deafness, blindness, and death. If you got one of them in the first year of your life, though, you may have incomplete immunity. In that case you might be immune and might not be. They can draw blood at the doctor's office and have immune titers done to determine if you have immunity.

Yes, I think. Since only one virus causes this rubella, the paramyxovirus of the genus Morbillivirus.
