What kind of bra should a woman wear after double mastectomy?

one of my relative did a double mastectomy and she didn't implant any silicone breasts and she want to know a kind of bra to be complementary to her case?

This is something she should discuss with her nurse.
There are false breasts - padding which can be inserted into a bra so that she can maintain a womanly figure in public. Her nurse will advise on this.
Some wome prefer not to wear 'falsies' at all and wear loose clothing which does not emphasise breast shape.

In Australia, there is a program supported (no pun intended) by one of our local bra manufacturers, where every woman undergoing surgery for cancer in their breast is supplied with a bra in their size suitable for use immediately after surgery and beyond, together with details of how to order more.

She needs to talk to her Breast Care Nurse, or alternately, any GOOD store selling women's underwear should have an assistant trained in helping choose and fit an appropriate bra - if she wants to wear one!

Details of the Australian program can be found by following the link.

Also a link to an on-line store selling all products she may need.

I would think that a sports bra would be the most comfortable bra for awhile. Although you could ask the Doctor who did the proceedure I am sure they would be happy to answer your question about it.
