Reconstuction after a mastectomy? |
My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer a few months ago. Her doctor suggested that she should get a mestectomy because the cancer is recurring. She has three different procedures that she needs to choose from. Has anyone here had any of the following procedures done? I just had a patient get the expanders & then implants. She had minimal pain (double mastectomy) & is getting her implants put in this week. The expanders were increased a little bit each week until she was just a bit larger than she was supposed to be so that the skin would not be too tight. |
