What exactly does the drug do? How long does the high last? Do you remember things you do, and do you have control over your actions?

The high lasts approx 2 - 3 hours, after about 45 mins you can feel it slowly reducing in effects. I personally find it increases paranoia rather than having a relaxing composition. It binds to a certain receptor in the brain causing you to feel "stoned" You generally do remember things, its a horrible drug, id personally rather take a stimulant.

You do remember everything very clearly and you do have 100% control over your actions at all times. (this is true for at least 99% of smokers, the other 1% might already be cuckoo though)

I hear tell that it is very relaxing and makes you eat heaps, makes you laugh, can make you paranoid if you arnt used to it and depending on the quantity of T.H.C in it ,you can be out of it for ages. Makes your reactions slower so driving can be a problem and you shouldnt do it while youre stoned. You do remember what you do unlike being drunk. Its nothing like alcohol because Ive known reasonably sane people do really dumb things that they regret the next day while drinking. Like drunk people who get violent Ive never seen a stoned person nut off.It is illegal you know...

The effects of marijuana are different depending on the individual user. First of all remember that it is a plant and not illegal everywhere. The negative image of cannabis(marijuana) in the united states comes from racial stereotypes and the fact that other "non-white" cultures introduced the plant as something to be consumed as a "drug".

When smoked marijuana can take effect in under 1 minute and the high can last up to several hours. I noticed when i first began smoking I would often wake up the next morning still with a noticeable change in perception. I have always remembered everything while under the effects of marijuana and never lost control of myself in any way.

As for marijuana causing people to become anti-social this is just untrue, in fact I think it is just the opposite. I have witnessed several times bringing people together that might have never had that interaction if it wasn't for this herb/weed/pot, whatever you want to call it.

Many things you have been taught about drugs from school/media/un-informed parents are completely false and the result of propaganda.

It doesnt have much effect on me - just relaxes me a little.

Works great for my migraines though!! And without the side effects of pills, etc.
