Is anyone here against marijuana?

Is anyone here for or against marijuana? Either way has anybody ever heard of anyone dying from cancer or acting in a drunk way or harming anyone as a result of marijuana. I haven't. And has anyone ever considered that if marijuana is so bad and harmful why is it legal to sell cigarettes which does way more harm to people yet it is legal and sold in stores. Same thing for alcohol. And our system permits people to own guns which is designed to destroy human life. Does any of this make any sense to you? Not to me. I've never known marijuana in its purest form, without additives to do any harm to anyone.note: when marijuana is transported and sold in the U.S. people use additives to make it more en joyous and give a better high versus using in a way that is good and for you. To me marijuana has gotten a bad wrap and is abused in a way it should not be when in fact it can be used for beneficial purposes. ANY OPINIONS.

i love it but our laws do not, and that's only because the can't make a dollar off it like ciggs and booze. i totally agree with you, and I can't wait til probation ends to enjoy again, just never trust anyone period, when it comes to this subject.

It's a proven fact that marijuana has never caused a single death...now people acting stupid while they're high doesnt count. The only reason it's not legal is because the government can't control it and tax it cuz people can just grow their own. sucks :(

Marijuana has never killed someone. the reason marijuana isn't legal and and cigarettes are legal, is because though cigarettes are harmful, they do not alter your mood, judgement, personality etc...and marijuana does. Either way, nobodies gonna stop just because of the government.

Marijuana is mostly harmless. Alcohol and nicotine are much worse.
But that's not why it's illegal.

If legalized it could reduce market share for alcohol/tobacco or other inebrients.

High-quality versions could be used by patients treating chronic pain, insomnia etc. Which could adversely affect the pharmaceutical industry.

And it requires no processing so people could (if it were legal) grow, dry and smoke their own.

So : Drain customer base + No processing plants + no jobs + no taxes = no legal dope.

It all adds up.

I don't think many people are against marijuana anymore, just the people who can do anything about it are.

I will only suggest that burning (repeat, anything) anything and smoking it is usually a bad idea.

You could expect plenty of poisons due to incomplete combustion. Some of these could be cancer-producing and cause problems up to 40 years later.
