Can marijuana delay a woman's period?

im sure marijuana makes the birth control pill less effective, but can it delay a woman's period when she is on the pill? would marijuana cause the pill to be less effective and therefore make the woman's period late? or is marijuana not able to effect hormones that are being chemically balanced with medication?

I'm on birth control and smoke pot everyday. I don't have any problems. It's never delayed my period, and I've never read any studies that show it changes the effectiveness of the pill.

if your taking birth control. you are not supposed to use marijuana it can harm you.
