Can marijuana help treat or help you cope better with cancer? |
I know marijuana is a prosumebly a safe drug (if you even want to call it that), and I know there is no history of anybody dieing from marijuana that has been documented. I have heard of it's medical benifits with cancer, nasua, glaucoma, and migrane headaches. What I want to know is if can in any way help my uncle who was diagnosed with stomach cancer and is in bad condition, he is constantly nausous and has lost his appitite, having lost 50 lbs. in just a few months, the doctors are worried. If anybody can inform me of any benefit that marijuana can give please let me know we are willing to try anything to help him fell better and put on some weight. thanks. Hi, I am so sorry to hear about your uncle. Marijuana has been sucessfully used to prevent nausea in patients undergoing chemotherapy. If you can do it without getting into trouble it is ceertainly worth a try. It will also help with pain. Good luck. those chinese think so!! I am VERY sorry to hear about your uncle.Marijuana is sometimes prescribed to cancer patients who are undergoung chemo to help ease their nausea.I don't see why it would not work for your uncle.Good luck and God bless. My grandmother was given pills. She never smoked medical marijuana. She had lymphoma and was really sick because of her chemo. Absolutely. Especially if he has chemo. It is incredible what it does for pain and nausea. It also helps lift ones mood, which is vital part of recovering or dealing with it. It will also help with his appetite. Most people who have experience with it and cancer all say how onderfull it is and how it helped them. MJ made my chemo survival a lot easier and I am convinced it helped my complete recovery. If your uncle doesn't smoke bake some cookies which work very well. Try this: It helps a lot with gastrointestinal diseases, so it would be good in that effect. It does help regain appetite. And it kills cancer cells, no joke. Check out the American's for Safe Access website. They have pamphlets you can view that are sited about how it helps all different kinds of illnesses including cancer, with quotes from doctors and patients. |
