Why is marijuana illegal, when alchohol and cigarettes aren't? |
i don't get the logic, it is virtually impossible to OD on marijuana, but people are hurt or die from alchohol evryday. cugarettes cause cancer alot faster and worse than marijuana because of the tar, the filter, and other chemicals. alchohol makes you violent and alot less concious than marijuana..........all in all marijuana is safer for your health then alchohol and cigarettes. Because the government would have no way to tax it unless suppliers registered with them, which they wouldn't bother doing. If the government found a way to tax EVERYONE, they would legalize it. because the government is a bunch of party poopers "all in all marijuana is safer for your health then alchohol and cigarettes" its what people put in it so they can get a high and drug companies dont make money of it so they make it illegal plus health issues because they havent found a way to tax it yet! Like some of the others have said, its because they can't tax it! You are right, have you ever heard of anyone ODing on marijuana? Nope, its an herb. The cigarettes give cancer, the patients go on chemo, and then smoke marijuana to feel better, I don't the logic in that either it makes no sense. marijuana is the best choice for any recreational substance out there. all it does is make people lazy and hungry and giggly. i don't see anyone smoking pot and going crazy on someone's aass. |
