Does anyone know about Marfan syndrome? will it inherit to next generation?

my gf was diagnosed by doctor with Marfan syndrome due to her bone structure (with long finger, combined arm length greater than height). my concern is, if we have child, will the child has marfan syndrome also? if yes, will it inherit only the bone structure? how about others symptoms like eye ligament disorder, mvp etc.

You need to talk to your doctor and ask for opinion. The following answer is not a medical advice. I am not responsible for any injury resulting from the words below.

Patients with Marfan syndrome have a 50% risk of passing the gene to the offspring regardless of its sex.

Prenatal molecular diagnosis is possible only if the family's mutation is known or sufficient affected family members are available for genetic linkage analysis.

Pregnancy in women with Marfan syndrome carries catastrophic and often lethal risk of acute aortic dissection.Women should receive a thorough cardiovascular evaluation before conception and during pregnancy. Echocardiography should be performed every 6-10 weeks during pregnancy.
