Hi, Yes there are many folk with Bipolar Mood Disorder, who are making huge changes in their lives by seeing there Dr and asking for information, and how to get the help you so badly need.

Take care of yourself, and ask for what you need. There can be side affects on some meds, Drs will assist you to find one that suits you. There are too many side affects leaving it untreated.You would have assistance for an aching tooth, well this is far worse to let it take over your life. You cannot think your way out. i was diagnosed three years ago i have taken a bunch of different medicines zoloft, prozac, doxepin, seroquel, gabitril, zyprexia, lexapro, trazadone and more just cant remember i had to get off my medicine it was making me like a zombie i didnt know what else to do

I don't take medicine for bipolar disorder. Reason, I was told by a health care worker there were too many side effects to treat this awful life experience.

I'm bipolar. I've been on lithium, epival, olanzapene, valproic acid, risperdal, paxil, effexor, clonazapam....not all at once though. Right now I'm on Lamictal and Wellbutrin and they seem to be working well for me.
