Did you know that God did not create mental illnesses - that people are different for very specific reasons?

I've got a touch of bipolar, manic depressive and poly-chemical dependance (managed well) but I am not getting at that. I wanted to know if anyone else ever thought that the crazies or even the odd ones in the bunch were created with tasks in mind or even given an unseen gift? Persons with ADD love themselves and are always getting things done etc..

WHO SAID

God doesn't exist.

The world just /is/.

Its cruel to pander to the mentally ill.

I think we are all here for a reason whether we have a mental health issue or not.We all have something to offer at some point no matter what our background culture or religion.Do I think some mental health patients exhibit extraordinary talents, yes I do, a lot of poets are Bipolar, a lot of people who are Bipolar are very artistic. It does seem to balance out like that doesn't it. Like they have that extra something to offer, but we have many non mental health patients that are excellent artists etc so do we make exceptions to the mental health patients that the rest of society is capable of anyway. I think we hear the word mental health and we associate this with someone who is mentally incapable so when they exhibit a talent such as poetry and art we are amazed, but only because of our pre conceived ideas about mental health issues.

God blessed man kind with mind and freedom to do whatever we want. is not God who created mental illness, its our own environment. people are different in the way they want to, because mind are like sponge, it absorb things, and like it or not it gave effect in the way we think.
people with gift were not loved them self, they protect them self from other people because they think they are odd, and afraid that other people might mock and make fun about them.

God does not create bad things nor does he agree with them.I am unsure if you have read the bible but if you have then u should know better.God is a being of love whom created man in an image of himself as he did his son jesus.Mental illness was brought about by ppl not doing what God suggested and abusing and stealing and not obeying any commandments at all.If we all lived like God intented us too then we would all be a hell of a lot happier than we are.It is very unfotunate that we as humans have had to learn the hard way through life much more unfortunate for our chilldren. And where the hell do you get the idea that ppl with add love themselves do some research mate b4 making conclussions like that

This is ludicrous. According the Bible, God did not create illness, it is a by product of sin which is allegedly human in origin. I can honestly say that my bipolar is not 'a gift' nor is it a curse, as it does not define who I am as a person in anyway or what I've achieved in spite of it. Please think before you make such stupid statements in the future.

I find that most people's success is often a combination of natural talents, hard work and the right opportunities. It is reducing the achivement of us who have done well for ourselves because of our own hard work, often with mental illness creating difficulty, which we overcome with determination, time and effort.

prove that he exsists prove that he doesnt
prove that he did create mental illness prove that he didnt

we have no prove only faith.and what we belive in

until we defintley prove gods exsistence is real or not
there is little we can do but not belive or belive
