How does primary care physicians affect managed care?

How does primary care physicians affect managed care?

It is actually quite the opposite. Managed care affects how primary care physicians practice medicine. Isn't it nice to know that business people with virtually no medical background are telling your doctor that they are required to see one patient every fifteen minutes in order for them to be included in the health plan of that specific company? docs now are required to see, on average, one patient every 10-15 minutes and be able to talk, diagnose a problem and get the next patient in the door. This does not allow doctors to do what they are trained to do: Listen to their patients and make wise decisions based on accurate information.

DID YOU KNOW? The two people who came up with the idea of HMO's are the same two individuals that came up with the brilliant plan on how to win over in Vietnam? Most of us old fogies know how that turned out much to the shame of the country and embarrassment of veterans. I don't care. For me, this was a war.
