I think I broke my fibia? Plz answer: I have a few important questions? |
I was just getting better from a sprained ankle and then just yesterday I was getting the ankle by dance. I was dancing in my room, and I got on the bed and jumped off, intending to land on my feet, but the music somehow switched, caught me off guard, and I slipped off the bed and landed on my right leg sooo hard! It hurt, but I managed to get up and walk ok. So then later, I was walking into my room and I tripped over thi stupid basket and landed on the same place I did earlier! Now THAT hurt! I cried and cried but nobody heard me because the music was too loud. I just kinda managed to pull myself up and get on my bed. I took care of it, and went to sleep. But I could NOT move my thigh! I cant touch the inside of my thigh without almost screaming. I can barely walk, I limp heavily. I am going to wait a while and then if it doesn't get better I will go to a doctor. I know it is possible to walk with a broke fibia, but I barely can! I can't twist in in a little or anything! I think it might be broke but IDK. Ok I have another question: Do you need a cast for a broken fibia? Will I need crutches ( I have some at home)? Could it possibly be broken? Plz answer! It is definately the bone that is hurting What is a fibia? In your leg you have a femur (thigh bone) and tibia and fibula in your lower leg. So which is it going to be? Yes you need a cast if you have broken any of these bones and yes you will most likely need crutches to get about. I think you should go to emergency and once they've fixed your leg, you might want to ask to have your head examined. LOL! u should go 2 da hospital nd get them 2 check it out. coz it could be something more important wrong wid u !! I agree with the first answer. Sounds like it could be broken, yes you would need a cast, and please dance in a room that has ROOM |
