also i forgot to add i have my period aswell and i have been crying a lot at the most ridiculous things thanks.

The first night it sounds like you had the stomach flue. but the mood swings and not being able to sleep is some thing I have never heard before after a stomach bug. To try and get some sleep try taking an over the counter sleep aid. No one can function well with out sleep and for what ever reason you are not sleeping this should help you go to sleep. Go see your doctor I don't want to scare you with worse case secnarios but it could be just a case of stress in your life. Being a parent, not seeing your partner this could all be stress leading to these attacks. but to make sure go see you doctor. the sleep aids should at least help you sleep. That is what I would do if you were myself. Good luck

always good to get medical advice. Drink fluids that will bring up your electrolytes as you may be low on them.

Use sleep-aids! Just for now, not as a habit, as it can develop into an addiction. Just for 1-2 nights.

well i was extremely sick a few months ago, i had the "pukin in the trashcan, while you are on the toilet sick" , anyways... i had a severe panic attack (which i have had for years) but i have not had one this bad in YEARS!!

honestly- i think it was because i was so sick, trying to take care of my 2 year old, and work all at the same time that it felt like the world was coming down on me and i was gonna die. i think it was stress and fear from being sick. panic attacks are weird..sometimes it has a specific trigger, and sometimes it doesn't. i don't even know if this answer will help or not?! but i have been there done that and thought i would share.

good luck to u... (prayer works wonders as well )!

Go to the doctor.

if I were you I would probally give it one more day and then give a go to your doctor.
Sleeping pills might not be the greatest thing, as you don't know what affect your illness might have with them at the moment.
Stress might just be the cause, if I were you, I would just spend some time by yourself, watch one of your favorite movies (comedys!), and relax by the tv with a warm cup of hot cocoa (not cofee, caffien won't help your sleep problem).
If that doesn't seem to relax you then I would check webmd.com for medical help.
Just try to relax, but if you don't feel better in a day, make an appointment.
