A case of Stomach Flu or Food Poisioning?

on Friday night, I went out to eat at Ihop with my mother. There were too many things to do during the day, so getting a bite to eat was difficult; we had to pick up some relatives from the airport.....it took forever.
Finally, irritated by hunger, my mother and I managed to eat (9:00 PM).
I didn't finish my omelet, my little sister who also came with us, wouldn't stop crying. That cut things short.
Once we were home, I opened my left overs, I was still hungry. I ate this greasy omelet.
The next day (sat), my appetite was non existent. I barely ate. I didn't feel like crap yet, just not hungry. Then as the day progressed, lets say around evening, things got nauseating. My stomach felt heavy/in pain and looked bloated.
Night time was hell. I vomited 4 times, I also had a bit of runny diarrhea. My body was in intense pain, sore, my head was throbbing (its been like 10 yrs since I've vomited). Now, (sun), its not as bad. I haven't vomited, I woke up nauseated a bit at first but it went away over time. What I do feel is extreme fatigue, muscle pain I sort of took care with Advil. Light headache, and chills.
How do I get over this horrible thing?
Can it be the stomach flu or food poisoning?

I believe food poisoning would have hit you sooner, but high protein food, kept at room temperature for more than four hours will start to develop bacteria. Those eggs could have been around awhile since you didn't eat until 9:00PM, and then you attempted to eat it again when you got home. You probably violated the time and temperature rule of eating food left standing for too long.

My guess is food poisoning, and it should work it's way out before too long. In any case, if it persists too long, you may want to see a doctor.
