Birads 3 on Mammography, follow up in 6 months but probably benign? |
I was told there was increased breast density in left breast and I should return in 6 months for 6 month diagnostic mammography. Nurse said it looks similar to other side that has been stable they want to see if there are any changes within 6 months I am scared to death. Has this happened to anyone else, what was your outcome and how did you not go crazy waiting it out? HELP!!!! Everyone in my family has this problem, but as long as size doesn't change no worries. My mom had this recently they made her stop all hormones/birth control monitored the size for a few months nothing changed and surgeon said if it didn't grow it was nothing to worry about. |
