What can "shadows" on a mammography mean ?? |
What can "shadows" on a mammography mean ?? When your mammo is read, the Dr bases his findings on the shadows. This may mean nothing, and most of the time, even if you have an abnormal looking mamo, (not all) it is negative. Its good that you have them. Don't worry yourself until they find something solid. Luck to you! UMMMMM! Ask your Dr. ? It's really too difficult to speculate. Shadows can be indicative of something as ominous as lobular cancer, or as harmless as insignificant cysts. Likewise, use of lotions, powders, perfumes, or deodorants during a mammo can cause shadows. |
