What happens if one drinks cold water after food?

Does it make gastric juices iniffective?Solidify fats and oils in food?Predisposes one to gastric malignancy?
I just recieved an e-mail saying all the above.

NO it doesnt do anything bad....just water...............Your stomach acid os stronger than the acid in a car battery so it will dissolve anyway.

You're supposed to wait 20-30 minutes after a meal to have a drink so that the enzymes in your saliva can break down your food properly. You can also buy enzymes and take them after your meal. You will have less heartburn, gas, bloating, etc.

It is way harded to burn fat if you drink cold wated after eating certain types of food. Forgive me if I sound a bit racist but why do you think all those asian and chinese people are so skinny? They drink hot tea after every meal! I guess the cold makes the fat more solid...and when you drink hot liquid it actually helps take it out of your system faster. Hope this helped. I'm gonna go drink some hot tea now...lol....seriously though, i am.

It makes the digestion system work harder because you are diluting the digestive juices in the stomach, this is a fact you should drink about an hour later, you also shouldn't really eat after 8pm as you are making the digestive system work over night which results in tiredness during the day.
